Beginning her career in 2014, she and her husband pioneered innovative spatial and product solutions that supported schools and universities shifting to more collaborative, student-centered models. After relocating to Dallas in 2017, Jolene became a trusted advisor to districts nationwide, helping them design inclusive, high-performing spaces grounded in the science of learning. Her work continues through her consulting practice, where she partners with organizations to drive category growth, develop research-aligned solutions, and elevate the learner experience.
A respected industry leader, Jolene serves on multiple national advisory committees, including B.R.I.D.G.E.S., a coalition advancing evidence-informed learning place design, and Design R.E.A.D.Y., a superintendent-focused council developing implementation strategies aligned with pedagogy and user needs. She is Past Chair of EDmarket and a Core Instructor for the ECLPS Certification program. In 2025, Jolene received the David McCurrach Award at EDspaces, recognizing her contributions to innovation, equity, and the future of learning environments. Participants engage in facilitated roundtable discussions, followed by cross-table exchanges that disrupt echo chambers and broaden perspective.
Structured debate protocols guide participants through positioning, evidence-building, counterargument, and perspective-shifting, ensuring rigor and equity of voice.
