Assistant SuperintendentMariemont City SchoolsBrent Wise is a dedicated educational leader currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent and Director of Strategic Initiatives for the Mariemont City School District in Cincinnati, Ohio. Since joining the district in 2017, Brent has been instrumental in driving the district’s mission of "Destination 2026," specifically focusing on the intersection of technology, innovation, and student-centered learning.
Brent oversees the award-winning Warriors BEyond program—a K-12 experiential learning initiative that emphasizes student voice and choice through expeditions, master classes, and intersessions. Under his leadership, Mariemont has been recognized for its forward-thinking approach to instructional technology and global learning opportunities.
Prior to his tenure at Mariemont, Brent served as the Director of Innovation and Extended Learning for the Hilliard City School District. He began his career in the classroom as a social studies teacher at Olentangy Orange Middle School and Rutherford B. Hayes High School.
