DESCRIPTION:Whether a school is brand new or in desperate need of repair\, the physical environment is an often-overlooked factor that directly impacts school culture and outcomes\, especially for students of color and those from low-income communities. Participants will learn to analyze a school’s physical spaces to strengthen culture and support learning goals using a practical framework and real school examples. Attendees will create a walkthrough instrument and action steps for improvement through intentional environment changes.
